History Of The Creation

The ideological mastermind of the project Louis Gouendat the suggestion of the President of the Union of African Diasporas in Russia, Kinfu Zenebe Tafesse decided to create a Cameroonian Diaspora in Russia.

At that time, Louis Gouend had already worked for 3 years as the head of the Media Department of the Union of African Diasporas and founded the most popular online magazine about business and investment in Africa – Hello Africa.

The Cameroonian Diaspora, although the third largest African Diaspora in Russia, did not exist and was not part of the Union of African Diasporas.

It was decided to create the Cameroonian Diaspora as a legal structure and its subsequent entry into the Union of African Diasporas.

Louis Gouend met with the presidents and representatives of existing local Cameroonian Associations and some active members of the diaspora and decided to jointly gather all citizens of the Republic of Cameroon living in Russia on one platform.

In the beginning, an organizing committee was created to draw up the charter and register the association. It included:

  1. Louis Gouend – the ideological inspirer of the project
  2. Ndjom Ndinga Christian Rock-feller – President of the Association of Cameroonians from St. Petersburg in 2021.
  3. Folefack Maturin – Member of the Bureau of the Association of Cameroonians from St. Petersburg in 2021
  4. Christabel Jubsia– President of the Association of Cameroonian Students in Moscow in 2021
  5. Yakam Firmin Giresse – Accountant of the Association of Cameroonian Students in Moscow in 2021
  6. Bayiha Francois Thierry Aristide – Representative of the Moscow Doyen Association
  7. Temkeng Seraphim Elmax
  8. Djuissi Olga Malick Franckline – President of the Association of Cameroonians in Tambov in 2021
  9. Leuga Frabrice – President of the Association in St. Petersburg
  10. Kouakeu Franck Lionel – President of the Association of Cameroonians in Ryazan in 2021
  11. Dr Deffo – doyen from Saint Petersburg
  12. Pasteur Njoh Mbeng Gustave

And, also, expressed support and actively participated in the creation process, including with the advice of:

After 9 months of hard work, the Association was officially registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
